About HCI
Heritage Christian Institute provides post-High School instruction in Biblical Worldview and Apologetics. It combines "college-style" classes and weekend seminars to equip the body of Christ to understand worldviews in conflict and to defend their faith in their daily life. It is designed to be practical for working adults and be of benefit to "laypeople" as well as those pursuing some kind of "vocational ministry." All teaching is based in the theological beliefs outlined in the Calvary Chapel Alpharetta Statement of Faith.
What is Biblical Worldview?
"Biblical Worldview" refers to the understanding that the Bible is God's revelation to man, designed to be our guidebook for life. We believe that Scripture speaks authoritatively on every aspect of life:
- Theology
- Philosophy
- Psychology
- Sociology
- Biology
- History
- Law
- Social Order
- Ethics
- Economics
Based on this, we believe it is imperative, especially in our generation, that Christians understand what God's Word says about these "disciplines", know how they apply to our lives, and are prepared to live and communicate a Biblical Worldview in a society dominated by other worldviews.
Do you offer Biblical Worldview training for Elementary, Middle, and High School students?
Calvary Chapel Alpharetta also provides Educational Enrichment classes based in Biblical Worldview training through Heritage Christian Academy. These classes are designed to supplement a comprehensive education program.
